Born and raised in Austin, my creative nature may have been sparked by the culture around Central Texas but it was enlightened by the thriving art scene during my college years in New York City. My insight and open mindedness - well, I owe that to my loving parents and teachers. In my own search to find out what I'm really capable of, the tools I've gained through a dedicated yoga practice have and continue to help break down barriers that hold me back from being fearless and constantly aware of the power of perception. My favorite part of the gift of teaching is empowering others with the things they learn so anyone can put into action insights that can help elevate not only their physical practice but keep them striving to learn more - whether it's about physicality or philosophy. Yoga for me means three things - the willingness to learn, putting that knowledge into action, and being at peace with where you and I are today in the present moment.
